    This is a photograph of Fred Cronenwett, who was born in 1887 and died in 1974.  He served as Justice of the Peace in Livingston County from May 1946 to January 1950, and was Chief of Howell City Police and Constable 1951 - 1955.

    He is standing in the intersection of Grand River Avenue and Michigan Avenue, and the cars parked indicate the date of this photograph was much earlier than 1951.   In the background is the northside of West Grand River Avenue, and the McPherson Store.

    These photographs were taken at Fred G. Catrell's 90th Birthday Party, held at the First Presbyterian Church, 323 West Grand River Avenue, Howell, Michigan.

    Fred Catrell was born in 1893 and died in 1995.  Mr. Catrell was very active in the Howell Community, and held many positions, including Howell City Clerk, City Councilman (1955), City Manager, and various roles including President of the Howell Chamber of Commerce.

    In photograph, Bill Scofield, and Joy Scofield along with Fred Catrell standing on the right.  

    Mr. Catrell was married to the former Laura O'Leary.

    This is a photograph of Fred Cronenwett, who was born in 1887 and died in 1974.  He served as Justice of the Peace in Livingston County from May 1946 to January 1950, and was Chief of Howell City Police and Constable 1951 - 1955.

    He was the son of Eva Love Hickey McPherson and Robert Bruce McPherson. The photo was taken at McPherson Mansion. He was born on August 20th, 1911, and would have been around 6 years old.
