    Judge Stan Latrielle Swearing in Ceremony at the Livingston County Courthouse, Howell, Michigan- 1983. A reception (unknown location) followed and a celebration was held at Judge Stan Latrielle's house afterward.

    In 1982, he ran for Judge for the 44th Circuit Court in Livingston County, Michigan. He held that position for 26 years, 1983-2009.

    Activities along Grand River Avenue included sack races, three-legged races, and a race for elderly gentlemen.

    This photograph was taken at the Miss Livingston County, Contest, Howell, Michigan, May 1962.  Patricial Pawlowicz was selected as the winner.  The names of the other contestants are unknown.  The contest was sponsored by the Howell Junior Chamber of Commerce.

    This group of photographs were taken on the lawn of the Howell Carnegie Library, June 14, 1915, and are of Camp Fire Girls, as shown and discussed in the 2013 David Finney book, "Images of America Howell".

    The girls were participating in Flag Day activities and had their pictures taken with parasols having American flag designs and in Native American dresses, headbands, and pigtails.

    The names of the members are unknown.

    This photograph featured on page 94 of David Finney's "Images of America Howell", 2013, show two unknown Howell women practicing boxing at a picnic held at Lake Chemung in the early 1900's.

    This photograph included on page 94 of David Finney's book, "Images of America Howell", 2013, features a Tug-Of-War Women, Lake Chemung, Picnic, Howell, Michigan.  He reported that each September, an interclass activity among members of Howell's senior and junior classes took place during an outing at Lake Chemung.  The names of the persons and exact year are unknown.  It is estimated it took place in the early 1900's.

    This photograph was taken in the early 1900's at Lake Chemung, Howell, Michigan, showing two men boxing. There were other similar pictures in this group at a picnic believed to be on the same day; some of the pictures were featured in David Finney's "Images of America: Howell", 2013.
